Sure, we've got lots of great genre TV to look forward to these days, everything from the final season of 'Fringe' to the upcoming season of 'The Walking Dead,' but the real torture lies in waiting for the third season of HBO's sword-swinging monster hit 'Game of Thrones!'  Sure, one could pick up the books and get the gist that way, but HBO doesn't always follow the George R.R. Martin texts to the letter!  Case in point, how would you like to see HBO filming a season 3 scene not present in the books?

'Game of Thrones' season 3 will be a marked difference from its predecessors, not only in the scale of action and show-runners David Benioff and Dan Weiss' enthusiasm for the material, but also for the manner in which it adapts the books.  Whereas seasons 1 and 2 followed a singular George R.R. Martin novel each, season 3 will adapt only the first half of "A Storm of Swords," leaving plenty of room for narrative additions and subtractions.

For instance, the Dubrovnik press was recently on hand to interview the show-runners,a s well as observe a new scene filmed for season 3 between Lord Baelish (Aiden Gillen), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Shae (Sibel Kekilli) and Ros (Esme Bianco) at Kings' Landing.  Of interest to note is that nowhere in the book does such a scene take place!

Take a look at the scene being filmed, as well as the interviews below and more photos here, and tell us what you're hoping to see from 'Game of Thrones' season 3 in the comments!
