We have to admit that when we first saw the new poster for 'Game of Thrones' season 3, consisting of a flying dragon shadow over a white backdrop, we were somewhat less than impressed. That is of course, until we started seeing how HBO intended to use the design! In addition to some incredible newspaper ads using the shadow in ingenious ways, HBO has begun terrifying Los Angeles bystanders with a giant dragon shadow over their building! Get a sneak peek of 'Game of Thrones' season 3 inside!

HBO has never let us down when it comes to 'Game of Thrones,' but its season 3 poster needed a bit of time to heat things up. Whereas the original poster featured the shadow of Daenerys Targaryen's dragons taking flight, now HBO has put all of L.A. on dragon warning by plastering the shadow onto the side of their California headquarters.

After the release of this past weekend's trailer, and the continued dragon sightings around the country, we can't wait to see what 'Game of Thrones' season 3 does with its ad campaign next before the March 31 premiere.
