HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 won’t bring forth any fire or blood until spring 2015, but that doesn’t prevent us from using “The Sight” to look ahead. The network has seemingly launched a new viral teaser campaign for season 5, revealing a few brief looks at Arya in the new season, as well as… some other stuff. Maybe. I don’t know, it’s weird.

As released over the official ‘Game of Thrones’ Twitter account, the brief and bizarre video showcases flashes of Arya’s past (and future?), directing viewers to a “Three-Eyed Raven” website in order to receive “The Sight” updates on the fifth season. Now, we know ‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 will go the most off-book of any year before, but at least a few of the flashes might point toward locations only readers of George R.R. Martin‘s books would recognize.

Or maybe not! Maybe it’s just a door. At the very least, we’ve already gotten a good heads-up on Arya’s new season 5 story from production photos, and one thing we can exclusively confirm is that Arya will in fact, at some point in the next 10 episodes, use a door. Feel free to quote me on this.

While we wait for ‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 (already renewed for 6, with the cast signed through 7), we know of both returning, confirmed absent, and a multitude of other new characters cast, including those that confirm we’ll be visiting the oft-mentioned kingdom of Dorne, for which Spain will double. As expected, the story will draw heavily from George R.R. Martin‘s fourth and fifth novels, ‘A Feast for Crows’ and ‘A Dance with Dragons,’ while HBO has also provided a list of directors, as well as insight into which literary stories may not make the transition to film.

We’ve included the brief teaser below, but in the meantime, what do you think? Will the mysterious Three-Eyed Raven link bestow “The Sight” on any other characters before long? What do you want to see when ‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 premieres in 2015?
