Yup! Ms. Lana Kane herself, or rather Aisha Tyler, actress and co-host of 'The View' will soon be bringing her golden pipes to an upcoming episode of 'Glee,' though whether or not she'll put them to use in song is anyone's guess. It remains to be seen if Tyler's role will prove a recurring appearance or even just a one-off, but who will the 'Archer' angel play?

'Glee' always brings its fair share of guest stars, though few excite us more than the actors and actresses already known for other genre TV projects. We've just learned from TVLine that 'The View' host and TV personality (and one of our favorite 'Archer' voices) Aisha Tyler will appear next on the show, for the moment in a single-episode role.

Tyler will play the mother of Jacob Artist's character Jake, half brother to the dearly-departed Noah Puckerman. Beyond that, it isn't clear what interaction Tyler might have with the rest of the Puckerman family, including Noah himself, or the other Mrs. Puckerman previously played by Gina Hecht.

Well, what say you? Do you think Tyler could open up and sing during her upcoming 'Glee' season 4 appearance? Are you counting down the days until the next season of 'Archer'? 'Glee' returns on Thursday, November 8 with "The Role You Were Born to Play," so give us your take in the comments below!
