Ever since James Gunn's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' got Marvelites hooked on these intergalactic superheroes with attitude, the cosplay world has been a boomin' with Rocket Raccoons, Gamoras, Star-Lords and even a bunch of Nebulas, but nothing makes us say "I am Groot" quite like this incredible Groot cosplay.

Cosplayer and amateur artist Calen Hoffman brought the standout 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star to life over the course of one-and-a-half months and for just under $100. Talk about talent.

"The main body is pipe insulation foam," he wrote on Facebook, "hot glued (low temp) to a suit of under armor (on my duct tap mannequin). The bark plates and mask are carved EVA foam sheets. The bark texture is kleenex soaked in Tacky glue and water. ... The moss is scenery foliage (in the model train section at your local hobby store)."

We're certainly not the only ones impressed. Portland's Cinetopia theater recently flew Hoffman out to promote their premiere of 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' something he had never experienced before.
