Although 'Guardians of the Galaxy' has been a generally tight-lipped production on the official end, the unofficial end has been feeding movie news rumor mill, with all kinds of eyebrow-raising news coming in on a seemingly daily basis. The latest rumor throws two more names into the mix: former wrestler Dave Bautista and 'Lost' veteran Kevin Durand.

According to Latino Review (who are the steadiest source of Marvel Studios news out there), Bautista is in the running for the role of Drax the Destroyer, a role that was previously offered to 'Game of Thrones' and 'Conan the Barbarian' star Jason Momoa. The scuttlebutt is that Momoa is still in the running, but he's holding out for a bigger paycheck, making Bautista look more desirable to certain members of the production. Latino Review assumes that Marvel will go with an unknown actor if both fall through and that sounds reasonable at this point.

They're less sure about Durand's involvement, however. If he's going to be a main member of the team, the only remaining male roles are a sentient tree and a talking mutant raccoon, so it could be a voice gig. But who knows? For all we know, he could be a villain. After all, 'Lost' fans who remember his Martin Keamy can testify how scary this guy can be.

'Guardians of the Galaxy' will open on August 1st, 2014. If they keep that timeframe (and they will), we should know the rest of the cast soon enough.
