'Homeland' Wins Best TV Series, Drama at the 2013 Golden Globes

Just moments after 'Homeland's Damian Lewis took home the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Series, Drama, 'Homeland' continued its indomitable awards streak by taking home the 2013 Golden Globe for Best TV Series, Drama. Despite some critical wavering in its second season, it seems neither the Emmys nor the Globes can deny the success of 'Homeland' come award season. Find out the full results inside!

We probably could have seen this coming given how 'Homeland' completely upset the 2012 Emmy awards, but it seems the streak continues with 'Homeland' taking the 2013 Golden Globe award for Best TV Series, Drama. Near of the entire cast and crew accepted the award onstage, producers Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa joking about shooting with Claire Danes while 8 months pregnant.

Its third season set to premiere in fall 2013, 'Homeland' beat out such competitive drama staples as AMC's 'Breaking Bad,' HBO's 'Boardwalk Empire,' Masterpiece's 'Downton Abbey,' and HBO's 'The Newsroom.'
