‘How I Met Your Mother’ Season 8 Spills A Big Secret in First Promo

We've finally broken through into September, and any good TV fan knows what that means: the major network shows are back!  One in particular we've been having a hard time waiting for since May is that of 'How I Met Your Mother,' given the big bombshell dropped at the end of season 7 finale "The Magician's Code."  The first new footage of the season has arrived, but what big secret couldn't wait for the September 24 premiere?

'How I Met Your Mother' fans rejoice, your first look at season 8 is here!  And for those who weren't pleased with the big revelation that - SPOILERS - Robin was revealed to be the eventual bride at Barney's wedding, know that it will be a long road in getting there (even longer, if CBS has their way).  As the first promo reveals, even on his wedding day Barney Stinson will be feeling the jitters, not that anyone will let Robin know!

Meanwhile in the present, Barney has a different wedding to plan with Quinn (Becki Newton), but surely not every detail will iron out as smoothly as they hope.  After all, how do you choose what type of bear to ride down the aisle on?  Not only that, but Lily lets slip a secret about Barney's past that Quinn didn't know, so will her news be the straw that broke the stripper's back?
