Open up the bar, because if there's one thing we've sure been short of, its' news on 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' season 8 news.  We learned nothing from Comic-Con 2012, haven't heard a single casting announcement, or seen a lick of footage from the new season to debut in October...until now.  The 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' season 8 teaser has finally arrived, and it's...well, it's...you might just want to click.

FX has released the first official teaser for the eighth, and thankfully not final season of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia,' set to bow sometime in October.  Of course, the teaser doesn't show any actual footage, or even really reveal anything, but rather features photos of the cast animated into a Japanese anime style.  It's pretty cool, if maddeningly unhelpful.

Could that mean production of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' season 8 sees the gang headed to Japan?  Probably not, but it would have been fun.  Details for the coming season are hard to come by, though Zap2It revealed that the season 8 premiere episode would see the gang starting up a trash-collecting venture after South Philadelphia waste management goes on strike, and Danny DeVito himself claimed that the slovenly Frank Reynolds might run for office in an upcoming outing.

Check out the brand new teaser below, and tell us what you'd like to see the 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' gang get up to in season 8!
