The ninth and potentially penultimate season of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' won't arrive on FXX (yes, a spin-off) until some time in September, but we've already heard quite a bit about the gang's upcoming adventures. We hope Dee has a handle on her heart condition, because her dreamy favorite singer Josh Groban will be guesting in an upcoming episode!

Via The Hollywood Reporter, Groban will play himself (as with 'Glee' but unlike 'The Office') in upcoming season 9 episode "The Gang Saves the Day," the details of which have been kept somewhat under wraps. We do know from season 6 however that Dee and Artemis (Artemis Pebdani) profess to be huge fans of the singer, and nearly met him in concert before Frank poisoned Dee. To show he could care for her, naturally.

The most recent trailers say little about season 9 either, but we do know that the upcoming exploits of Mac, Charlie, Dee, Dennis and Frank will feature a guest appearance from ‘Breaking Bad' star Aaron Paul, and that ‘Game of Thrones‘ showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss have written an episode, however lacking in references to the HBO drama.

What say you? Are you eager to head back to Paddy's Pub for another round of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' this fall on FXX? Watch the teasers below, and give us your Josh Groban predictions in the comments!
