Kristen Stewart has done very well distancing herself from the Twilight saga with a series of roles proving her worth as a very talented actress — Still Alice, Camp X-Ray and Clouds of Sils Maria have showcased Stewart’s dramatic chops, but it’s the latter in which she gave her most impressive performance to date. So it’s definitely good news that the actress is reuniting with her Clouds of Sils Maria director for another project.

According to Variety, Stewart will re-team with director Olivier Assayas for Personal Shopper, described as an English-language ghost story set in the underworld of Paris fashion. Underworld: Paris Fashion Week!

Personal Shopper is said to explore some of the same themes featured in Clouds of Sils Maria, an impressively smart film that meditated on female relationships, Hollywood and fame. Clouds of Sils Maria premiered at last year’s Cannes film festival, earning Stewart a Cesar (the French version of the Oscar) for Best Actress. Clearly Stewart and Assayas are a great pairing.

Up next, Stewart stars in Anesthesia, the new film from director/actor Tim Blake Nelson and the sci-fi film Equals. She’s also re-teaming with her Adventureland co-star Jesse Eisenberg for American Ultra, and is currently filming Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, the new film from Ang Lee.
