Given that FX's 'Sons of Anarchy' has proved the cable network's biggest success to date, we weren't surprised to hear that series creator Kurt Sutter would continue his partnerhsip with the network by developing additional programs. In addition to the bizare killer clown comedy we'd earlier heard about, Sutter has begun development of supernatural drama 'Lucas Stand' with former 'Hell On Wheels' showrunner John Shiban for FX, but what's the new drama all about?

'Sons of Anarchy' creator Kurt Sutter has done plenty of work with Hell's Angels before, but never quite so literally. A new report from FX has announced that Sutter and departed 'Hell on Wheels' showrunner John Shiban have begun work on a script for 'Lucas Stand,' described by the network as a "salvation quest of a damaged former special ops soldier, who has been chosen to traverse time and place to hunt down and kill Hell's law-breaking demons."

The concept of 'Lucas Stand' comes from an idea by Sutter, and will unfold as "a dark, action/horror drama, with both episodic and serialized elements." For now FX has only ordered an initial script.

Well, what say you? Do you think Kurt Sutter can bring literal magic to FX in the same way as the figurative magic of 'Sons of Anarchy'? What would you like to see the notoriously outspoken showrunner tackle next?
