A new trailer has just debuted for Lego The Hobbit, an adventure that combines the events of the first two Hobbit films and infuses them with that Lego game charm we've all grown to love.

The trailer shows a highlight reel of some of the events in 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' and 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.' The action is set to the audio from the films, much like the previous Lego Lord of the Rings game, giving it an authentic feel. The only difference here is that the pulse-pounding fantasy action is accompanied by the goofy humor we've come to expect from a good Lego game.

The game is set to drop on almost all platforms in 2014 and promises to have the "most diverse Quests of any Lego videogame to date." We personally can't wait to see how they handle the Riddles in the Dark sequence. Watch the trailer above and find yourself in good company among the dwarves in 2014.
