Netflix is bringing another of its series to an unexpectedly early end. Judd Apatow romantic dramedy Love will officially return for its third season in March, but Netflix confirms the Gillian Jacobs-Paul Rust series won’t be back after that.

The Hollywood Reporter announced that Love Season 3 will officially premiere on Friday, March 9, though Netflix has decided not to pick the series up for Season 4. Whether or not he intended Season 3 as the last, Apatow offered “I am really excited about the third season of Love. I think it is our sweetest, funniest season and ends our story in a beautiful way.” Check out the first key art:

Adds Netflix:

Over three seasons, viewers around the world have laughed, cringed, and cried with Mickey and Gus, and we are excited to share this concluding journey with their fans.

In addition to Rust and Jacobs, the series stars Claudia O’Doherty, Iris Apatow, Brett Gelman, Tracie Thoms, Bobby Lee, Briga Heelan, Kerri Kenney and more. We’ll likely see first footage in 2018, but is Love reaching a premature climax?
