Exclusive 'Low Winter Sun' Episode 3 Photos: Frank and Joe Fight "No Rounds"Kevin Fitzpatrick |
Along with a brand-new episode of 'Breaking Bad,' this Sunday's third installment of AMC freshman crime drama 'Low Winter Sun' will feature a surprise for 'Walking Dead' fans, shambling out a brand new look at season 4! While the action of 'Low Winter Sun' heats up however, we have an exclusive photo sneak peek of Sunday's all-new episode "No Rounds" to get fans up to speed on the series.
Detective Frank Agnew (Mark Strong) continually finds himself drawn deeper and deeper into decay by Joe Geddes (Lennie James), as this Sunday's new episode "No Rounds" will see the two further working to cover up evidence of McCann's murder. Meanwhile, Damon Callis (James Ransone) and Maya (Sprague Grayden) prepare for the opening of their new "Blind Pig" operation.
Judging by the exclusive photos below, Frank's boxing skills have left a bit to be desired, while Maya entertains imposing crimelord Skelos (Alon Moni Aboutboul), and Geddes drowns his sorrows with a local barmaid. No wonder, considering how far south things have gone in only two episodes of 'Low Winter Sun,' the premiere of which is available online, while viewers can also catch up on AMC's recap of the first two episodes.
Adapted from a 2006 UK miniseries (also featuring Mark Strong) and written and executive produced by Chris Mundy (‘Criminal Minds’), the AMC drama is described as “a contemporary story of murder, deception, revenge and corruption that starts with the murder of a cop by fellow Detroit detective Frank Agnew.” Also starring Ruben Santiago-Hudson (‘Castle‘) and Athena Karkanis (‘The Transporter’), the series positions the murder to forever alter Frank’s life by activating forces that pull him deeper into the Detroit underworld.
No doubt we'll be watching both for the new episode and a sneak peek of 'The Walking Dead' season 4, but in the meantime check out our exclusive photos of Sunday's all-new 'Low Winter Sun' episode "No Rounds" below, and tell us what you think of AMC's new series in the comments!
