When Megan Fox was cast as April O'Neil in the upcoming 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' reboot, the reaction was...mixed. And by "mixed" we mean, mixed between people hating it and people really hating it. Today, however, we have the first look at Megan Fox in character as April on the 'Ninja Turtles' set and maybe it'll change your mind. Maybe? (Probably not.)

There's been a lot of controversy surrounding the Michael Bay-produced 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' reboot including the whole "aliens-not-mutants" scandal. Also the focus of much debate was the hiring of Fox, already a polarizing figure, as one of the main humans in the film and the Turtles BFF, April O'Neil.

Though Fox once likened Bay to Hitler (after which Bay promptly had her fired from 'Transformers 3'), the two made up and have reunited on the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' set.

Now filming in New York City, Fox can be seen in these shots working as a reporter for Channel 6, the same network that employed her in the cartoon and comics. In this scene, she's filming some exercise apparel on a mini-trampoline (not exactly hard-hitting journalism) and sans the classic yellow jumpsuit.

Take a look below and let us know what you think. Certainly not much of a resemblance to the cartoon character but that's probably a good thing? Are you warming up at all to the idea of Megan Fox starring in a live-action 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' movie?
