Before the floor officially opens for E3 2013, Konami will be hosting a press conference on June 6th. There, the company will debut new footage and details on its anticipated new releases Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.

The whole event will be streamed courtesy of Gamespot and, in addition to finding it live on that site, Xbox Live subscribers will be able watch through the Gamespot app on the video marketplace. Everything will kick off at 1PM EST that Thursday, which gives Konami quite a bit of lead time on the start of E3 proper.

As Gamespot is owned by CBS Interactive, eight markets will also see the press conference live on television. Viewers in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Atlanta, Seattle, and Sacramento will be able to watch through a local CBS affiliate as the action unfolds in real time.

In addition to Metal Gear and Castlevania, Konami will also have more on this year's version of Pro Evolution Soccer. Coupled with those reveals, the publisher plans on dishing the dirt on a few yet-to-be seen games. All in all, it sounds like a perfect way to spend a Thursday.
