Hey, ScreenCrush readers! How's everyone holding up? Wednesdays, amiright? But, we're glad you're here with us today, because we've got some exciting news to announce!

Please help us in welcoming a new member to the ScreenCrush team: Mike Ryan! I’m beyond thrilled to have Mike join the ScreenCrush team as our new Senior Editor. As a fan, I’ve followed his work on the web for years and he’s one of the smartest, funniest and most passionate writers I know. His unique interviews, insightful reviews and in-depth features will be a fantastic addition to the site and further solidify ScreenCrush as an industry-leading authority and content creator in the movies and television space. Which is all just fancy talk for, we're gonna be making a bunch of stuff we really think you're going to love.

Mike comes to us from Huffington Post, where he was their Senior Entertainment Writer for the past few years. You may remember him from his fantastic interviews with Chris Evans, Harrison Ford and Bruce Willis. And, before you ask, yes, he'll be bringing 'SNL' Scorecard and Chitauri Steve with him. Previously, Mike was a frequent contributor at Vanity Fair and Wired magazine and wrote for Time, GQ and New York magazines. We can't wait for him to get started!

As Mike joins the team, I should also take this opportunity to re-introduce you to our amazing existing staff of writers and editors including Associate Editor Nick Romano, our lead film critic Jordan Hoffman, TV editor Kevin Fitzpatrick and super talented writers like Britt Hayes, Jacob Hall, Kate Erbland and Damon Houx. Oh, and me. There's also me, your humble Editor-in-Chief.

In addition to Mike's arrival, there are a lot of exciting things on the ScreenCrush horizon. In the coming months, look for our revamped YouTube channel packed with original video content, a fancy site redesign and many more secrets we don't want to spoil.

ScreenCrush is just two years old this month and thanks to you all, we've grown exponentially over that time. Thanks for sticking around, reading and watching our stuff and we look forward to hanging out with you and talking movies/TV over the years.
