In spite of all the success Better Call Saul lead Bob Odenkirk and Arrested Development star David Cross have found on their own, fervent Mr. Show fans have long-clamored for a reunion between the pair. Now, Netflix has officially given a series order to a new sketch comedy series with Odenkirk and Cross, abbreviating Mr. Show with Bob and David to the simpler With Bob and David.

Per Deadline, Netflix has officially greenlit four half-hour episodes and an hourlong making-of special for the new series, which the pair describe in the below synopsis. Odenkirk and Cross will also executive produce the new series, along with Marc Provissiero, Naomi Odenkirk, Tim Sarkes, Dave Kneebone, and the famous Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim.:

After being dishonorably discharged from the Navy SEAL, Bob and David are back serving our country the way they do best: making sketch comedy. Four half-hours of brand-new comedy featuring all new characters, all new scenes and, most importantly, all new wigs.

Initially paired on The Ben Stiller Show, HBO’s Mr. Show with Bob and David ran from 1995 to 1998, and shot the pair to cult comedy stardom. None of the prior Mr. Show regulars have been confirmed for Netflix’s With Bob and David, though it seems exceptionally likely any number of friends and big names might drop by.

For his part, Odenkirk will work in between hiatuses of the already-renewed Better Call Saul, which ends its first season this coming Monday. The first official photo has already arrived above (with The Mindy Project star Jon Barinholtz), so celebrate the return of Mr. Show With Bob and David on Netflix!
