Just in case you thought 'The Avengers' was the biggest and most improbable cinematic team-up of the year, the new poster for 'Rise of the Guardians' is here to show you otherwise. Who needs Captain America and Iron Man when you have Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny?

Based on the 'Guardians of Childhood' series by acclaimed author William Joyce (who, as an executive producer, had a guiding hand on this project), the film proposes that Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and the Sandman are all members of some kind of supergroup who fight evil and protect children the world over. Since this is a Dreamworks production, each character is voiced by a celebrity whose voice you're bound to recognize. After all, how else are you going to get the coveted Alec Baldwin demographic to come out for an animated children's movie?

The new poster (topped by the shrug-worthy tagline of "legends unite") does little more than showcase the characters in badass poses...well, at least as badass as these bizarre group can look. What do you think? Are you prepared to accept what is essentially a superhero take on the stories and legens of your childhood?

'Rise of the Guardians' opens of November 21st.
