'Parks and Recreation' has had some great guest stars in its five years on the air, most recently with 'Breaking Bad' star Jonathan Banks, but can anything top the heavenly hotness of Christie Brinkley? Certainly not House Speaker Newt Gingrich, but you'd better believe he's going to try  This Thursday's "Ron and Diane" will introduce Brinkley as Jerry Gergitch's long-discussed wife Gayle, as seen in the clip below, but what's this about Newt Gingrich scoring a surprise cameo?

Adding further illumination to the wonder that is 'Parks and Recreation' employee Jerry Gergitch's positive demeanor, this Thursday's all-new episode "Ron and Diane" will introduce the always-stunning Christie Brinkley as Jerry's wife Gayle, seen when the Parks department visits Jerry's for a Christmas party. Entertainment Weekly managed to score the first appearance of Brinkley's character, which has the predictable effect when introduced to Ben Wyatt.

But that's not all! The Indianapolis Star recently revealed that the 'Parks and Recreaton' writers made a last minute adjustment to an upcoming script, when during filming at Indianapolis' St. Elmo Steak House the crew noticed ex-GOP presidential candidate and House speaker Newt Gingrich dining nearby!

Providing Gingrich with a brief cameo, series creator Mike Schur told the Star "it was a completely random chance, but you can’t pass up on an opportunity like that." Unfortunately, Amy Poehler's Leslie Knope won't be around for the encounter, which is said to represent Ben's bachelor party for the upcoming wedding.

Check out Christie Brinkley's appearance in Thursday's 'Parks and Recreation' episode "Ron and Diane" below, and tell us your dream guest stars in the comments!
