The original report is below.

_____

There have been a lot of reports regarding the trailer for ‘Star Wars: Episode 7.’ Just last week, news surfaced that Disney planned to attach the first teaser trailer to screenings of ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,’ which seemed to confirm an earlier rumor, while Disney reps said they had “bigger plans” for their official debut. And now another report has surfaced, claiming that we’ll see the first teaser in theaters as soon as this coming Thanksgiving week. Madness!

Where does this new report come from? Reddit, so take it with a grain of salt, but Slashfilm has confirmed from some reliable sources that the report is true—and if so, that means that we could be seeing the first trailer for ‘The Force Awakens’ this coming week. Along with the promised Thanksgiving day trailer for ‘Jurassic World,’ this could be a pretty huge week for trailers.

Details are vague, but the Reddit post claims that the first 90-second teaser trailer for ‘The Force Awakens’ would play in 100 theaters nationwide in the coming week, attached to “most if not all films.” The claim goes on to state that the agreement dictates that each participating theater show ‘Big Hero 6’ in the earliest time slot during each day of the coming holiday weekend.

But the only issue with the Reddit claim is that previous reports indicated that the teaser was 60 seconds long, while this post says the teaser is 90 seconds in length. So again, take it with a grain of salt. It is likely we’ll see the first trailer for ‘The Force Awakens’ in the coming week, but the specific details are still a bit of a mystery.
