If there's one thing we know for sure, it's that the upcoming remake of 'RoboCop' will be, by default, bigger, louder and faster than the original. A new clip from the film only confirms this, making it very clear that this particular iteration of the cyborg police officer was created in the age of CGI.

Using context clues gathered from knowing the original film like the back of our hand, it looks like this clip takes place relatively deep into the film, so if you're spoiler-phobic in any way, you may want to clip on away from this page and wait for the film's theatrical bow.

Still here? Okay. The clip features the new RoboCop (played by Joek Kinnaman's jaw) fighting his way into a large building. After a brief stand-off with human security guards, he uses his motorcycle to make an aerial entrance into the lobby, where he battles not one, not two, but three ED-209 robots. Since this is a 2014 blockbuster featuring a super-powered character, tons of leaping and flipping and acrobatics ensues in the following gun battle.

Like the previous clip from this film, everything looks competently made, but should we really be hoping for a decent action movie? After all, the original film wasn't just a decent action movie -- it was a great action movie. And it wasn't just a great action movie -- it was (and is) one of the best satires ever smuggled into mainstream cinema. The new film has yet to showcase any of that wit. Is it wrong to want a wink or two from a film called 'RoboCop'?

UPDATE: Sony Pictures released an entire batch of new clips from 'RoboCop,' featuring Abbie Cornish, Michael Keaton, Jay Baruchel, Gary Oldman and Samuel L. Jackson. Take a look below.

The 'RoboCop' reboot will finally hit theaters on February 12, 2014.
