Oliver Stone's 'Savages' opens this weekend, and it feels like a film out of time. You don't get many R-rated wide releases in the summer anymore and the film seems like it belongs in the 1990's, when 'Pulp Fiction' was de rigueur.

The film's stars talk about the movie and John Travolta says that 'Savages' has the same sort of energy that 'Pulp Fiction' has, so it's not just us making that comparison.

If not for just the great Oliver Stone or the 'Pulp Fiction' comparisons, we're also excited for the film because it has an all-star ensemble, including Travolta himself, Taylor Kitsch, Blake Lively, Aaron Johnson, Benicio Del Toro, Emile Hirsch, Demian Bichir and Salma Hayek as a badass drug lord.

'Savages' (you can check out the film's official site here) opens July 6 and below is a new featurette, which will help explain the movie’s twisted world:

As an added bonus, we have a couple copies of the film's soundtrack to giveaway. Just enter your e-mail address below to win!
