SNL will take a short hiatus after Tracy Morgan’s triumphant return, opening back up on November 7 with a likely bit of controversy, thought we can much more confidently bank on the subsequent outing. November 14 will see the odds ever in our favor, as Hunger Games star Elizabeth Banks takes the stage for the first time as host.

Banks made the announcement herself over Twitter, adding that Disclosure would act as the musical guest. The Wet Hot American Summer breakout will presumably be on hand to promote the final Hunger Games chapter Mockingjay, Part 2 on November 20, making her the last of the film’s major stars to drop by, behind Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth (who at least appeared with brother Chris) and Woody Harrelson.

In addition to The Hunger Games, Banks also has Pitch Perfect 3 to look forward to, along with her role in the Lego Movies, and a voice in Comedy Central’s ongoing Moonbeam City. SNL will brace for impact on November 7 with Donald Trump, but let’s look forward more optimistically to Banks on the 14.
