Given the upcoming holiday, 'SNL' won't return until December 8 following this past weekend's turn with Jeremy Renner and musical guest Maroon 5. While that seems like a cruelly long wait, will the return of Jamie Foxx as our December 8 host, with musical guest Ne-Yo, make up for it? The 'Django Unchained' star will make his first 'SNL' appearance since a previous hosting gig in 2000, so what can we expect from Foxx a second time around?

Mark your calendars, once you've come down from your post-Thanksgiving haze, star Jamie Foxx will return to the 'Saturday Night Live' stage on December 8 to take up hosting duties, his first appearance in 12 years. Joining Foxx will be musical guest Ne-Yo.

Incredibly, Foxx last hosted all the way back in 2000, with musical guest Blink 182. This time around, Foxx will be on hand to promote upcoming Quentin Tarantino thriller 'Django Unchained,' due for release on Christmas Day 2012. While we barely remember Foxx's last turn on the 'SNL' hosting stage, we're sure his sketch comedy skills from his 'In Living Color' days haven't lost their shine.

Do you think Jamie Foxx will pick up where he left off as host? Who would you like to see take up the stage next? What did you think about this week's turn with Jeremy Renner? Sound off in the comments below!
