If ever we thought SNL was keeping unusually coy with Season 42, the floodgates are open now. After this morning’s news of Lin-Manuel Miranda hosting next week, our first premiere promos with Margot Robbie have arrived, along with reports of a third host for October.

Our first official Season 42 promos feature the Suicide Squad star knocking back wine with Kate McKinnon, engaging in a little raccoon-friendly girl-talk, and a very exclusive dance party. Not only that, TVLine reports that our third outing of the year will see The Girl on the Train star Emily Blunt make her hosting debut on October 15, alongside an unannounced musical guest.

Elsewhere of Season 42, new cast members Mikey Day, Alex Moffat and Melissa Villaseñor will replace Taran Killam, Jay Pharoah and Jon Rudnitsky, while returning cast will include Vanessa Bayer, Beck Bennett, Aidy Bryant, Colin Jost, Kate McKinnon, Kyle Mooney, Bobby Moynihan, Cecily Strong, Kenan Thompson, Sasheer Zamata, Michael Che, Pete Davidson and Leslie Jones.

New Season 42 additions to the writing staff include UCB alum Joanna Bradley, Anna Drezen and Kristen Bartlett, along with Jimmy Kimmel writer Zack Bornstein, comedian Julio Torres, and BriTANicK stars Nick Kocher and Brian McElhaney. Unclear are which existing writers will return for Season 42, at least apart from new co-head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider.

SNL Season 42 will premiere this weekend, but what do we make of the first hosts so far?
