SNL Preview: Matthew McConaughey Hums 'Wolf of Wall Street'

If you thought Matthew McConaughey’s 14-year SNL return would go by without homage to the True Detective star’s most recent roles, think again. Kate McKinnon brings back the Wolf of Wall Street hum in McConaughey’s full promos for this Saturday, and yes, someone spies a lot of lawbreakers in this room.

Spanning Magic Mike to Killer Joe, McConaughey plays a good sport with McKinnon in promotion of this Saturday’s upcoming outing with Adele. Another bit sees the two cold-calling fans to watch, but sadly, no True Detective reprisals just yet. We’ll see about that, Rust.

As if McConaughey returning to the stage after 14 years with Adele in tow weren’t enough, next month will kick off with Ryan Gosling taking the stage with Leon Banks, followed on December 12 by Chris Hemsworth and Chance the Rapper. December 19 will close out 2015 with one of the NBC sketch series’ biggest shows yet, a dual hosting between Sisters and alum Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, joined by Bruce Springsteen himself.
