SNL won’t return for another week with Avengers: Age of Ultron star Scarlett Johansson suiting up on May 2, and #NoSpoilers, but we already know how Season 40 will end. Hot Pursuit star Reese Witherspoon will host the subsequent week, while Louis C.K. will take the stage for the May 16 SNL finale.

NBC confirmed its final two host for the year, also clarifying that Whiz Khalifa would act as musical guest when Scarlett Johansson makes her third hosting appearance on May 2. Florence + the Machine will join Reese Withespoon (making her second turn) on May 9, while Rihanna will accompany Louis C.K. for the May 16 finale.

Johansson will no doubt follow Jeremy Renner and Chris Hemsworth with another Avengers parody, or perhaps acknowledgement of Renner and Chris Evans’ recent interview kerfuffle. Witherspoon, meanwhile, will take the stage in promotion of cop comedy Hot Pursuit, while Louis C.K. has the current season of Louie.

Stay tuned for first looks at Scarlett Johansson in SNL’s May 2 return, followed by Reese Witherspoon and Louis C.K. Is NBC’s sketch comedy series in its best season for years?
