'Star Wars: Episode 7' - Samuel L. Jackson is Totally "Geeked Out" and Ready to ReturnMike Sampson |
'Star Wars: Episode 7' has gotten the approval of previous 'Star Wars' stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Ewan McGregor and heck, even Billy Dee Williams. And now you can add one more actor to the list of those interested in returning for 'Star Wars: Episode 7' - Mace Windu himself, Samuel L. Jackson.
You're probably asking yourself, "Self, didn't Mace Windu die in 'Star Wars, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith'?" Yes, he did. He had his arm chopped off, was electrocuted and launched out a window into space. But hey, he could totally come back from that, right? At least so says Sam Jackson who is "totally geeked" out at the prospect of 'Star Wars: Episode 7' telling E! News:
It's like, okay, Obi-Wan was dead when episode four started, so maybe everyone thinks I'm dead and we'll find out what happened to Mace Windu. I can come back as one-armed or a one-handed Jedi that's still around that didn't actually die. I could do that or be a ghost hologram. I don't care, I just want to stay associated with the franchise. I just always loved it.
But if Mace Windu were still alive or some kind of ghost hologram, wouldn't he have appeared in Episodes IV-VI? Are we applying too much logic to the 'Star Wars' universe?
Samuel L. Jackson is out promoting 'Django Unchained,' recently wrapped 'Oldboy,' is filming 'Robocop' and has appearances in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' and 'The Avengers 2' still on the horizon. So it's not like he's desperate for work. But he sure sounds excited about 'Star Wars: Episode 7'...
