How much would you sacrifice for stardom? The night before Halloween brings the trailer for the indie horror flick 'Starry Eyes,' which has made quite the impression on the festival circuit this year, playing at fests like SXSW and Fantasia. Starring newcomer Alexandra Essoe, the film follows a young, aspiring actress starving for fame, whose life changes in startling and horrifying ways when she lands the lead in a horror film that demands a bit much from her.

The trailer for 'Starry Eyes' doesn't appear to give away much of the film, which is kind of a big deal for horror films these days. It just makes us all the more interested in seeing this one as soon as possible. The movie stars Essoe as Sarah Walker, an actress who spends her days waitressing and trying to make it as an actress, enduring auditions that are leading nowhere until she catches her big break as the lead in a horror film.

The film also stars Noah Segan, Pat Healy, Amanda Fuller, and Shane Coffer. Here's the official synopsis:

Determined to make it as an actress in Hollywood, Sarah Walker spends her days working a dead-end job, enduring petty friendships and going on countless casting calls in hopes of catching her big break. After a series of strange auditions, Sarah lands the leading role in a new film from a mysterious production company. But with this opportunity comes bizarre ramifications that will transform her both mentally and physically into something beautiful… and altogether terrifying.

'Starry Eyes' hits VOD and select theaters on November 14.
