Starz's 'Outlander' has drawn a considerable amount of buzz toward its impending premiere, particularly with the recent Comic-Con 2014 presence teasing viewers of its sweeping adaptation. Now, the series premiere itself has fallen through time to make its way online a full week early, and you can watch its uncut entirety right now!

For those unfamiliar with the series, ‘Outlander’ tells the story of married World War II combat nurse Claire (Caitriona Balfe), who accidentally steps back in time to the year 1743 where she is “immediately thrown into an unknown world of adventure that sends her on the run and threatens her life.” Claire is forced to marry a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior named Jamie (Sam Heughan), igniting a passionate affair that tears Claire’s heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

The series has yet to receive a formal renewal for season 2, as tends to be the case with most Starz series, but the intense popularity of author Diana Gabaldon's novel series, as well as early buzz for the premiere all but assure we'll see the "Sassenach" around for years to come. The first 16-episode season will be split into two, AMC-style, with the first eight consecutive Saturdays running through September 27, and the second half scheduled to continue sometime in early 2015.

We've checked out the pilot at least, which certainly feels a few leagues above the network's usual offerings, though we'd admittedly rather have 'Outlander' than that '50 Shades of Grey' TV series Starz swung for at first.

'Outlander' will return to its proper time with an August 9 premiere, but in the meantime, check out the debut episode in its entirety above, and give us your thoughts in the comments!
