Chris Hemsworth certainly knows how to keep busy. Amidst his duties as Thor in the upcoming 'Thor: The Dark World,' and 'The Avengers 2' (whenever that happens), he may be on the rope for a 'Snow White and the Huntsman' sequel, and now has signed on for Steven Spielberg's 'Robopocalypse.'

This comes from Deadline Hollywood, who note that the film has an April 25, 2014 release date. This likely means that Spielberg will start shooting once Hemsworth is wrapped on the second 'Thor' movie. ‘Robopocalypse’ is based on the novel by Daniel H. Wilson, with a script from ‘Cabin in the Woods’ and 'Cloverfield's screenwriter Drew Goddard.

This is what we said about the plot last time:

The film tells the story of a not-so-distant future where man has come to rely heavily on robots. As these things go, a scientist inadvertently creates a sentient bot that unleashes hell on society, and the film focuses on the aftermath of the robot uprising.

That sounds huge and we can't wait to see what Spielberg has in store for us. For those looking to see more of Hemsworth between now and then, he'll be in Ron Howard's 'Rush,' which is due out next year, the 'Thor' sequel, and it looks like the long-delayed 'Red Dawn' will be hitting theaters this fall. But after all that film's been through we still aren't sure it will ever get released.
