Get a sneak peek of 'Supernatural's endgame inside!

The 'Supernatural' war between angels and demons will surely heat up when the long-running CW returns for its final four episodes of the season on April 25, and the CW has tapped some serious 'Revenge' for the fight. Via TVLine, we've learned that 'Revenge of the Nerds' star and beloved comic actor Curtis Armstrong will appear as Metatron, historically known as the personal scribe of God.

Seen as something of a cross between Obi-Wan Kenobi and 'The Usual Suspects' Verbal Kint/Keyser Soze, Metatron will reluctantly aid the boys when they seek help decrypting the third trial, now that Kevin Tran has gone missing. In addition to appearing in the final three episodes of the season, Armstrong's role may recur into the ninth year as well.

We've included pictures of the May 1 episode featuring Curtis Armstrong below, so have a look and tell us how you think 'Supernatural' will close out season 8!
