'Fast and Furious 7' has been fast-tracked for a summer 2014 release, which is great news for us movie fans. This was not such great news for director Justin Lin, who is still working hard to finish up 'Fast and Furious 6,' which opens next month. Because of that scheduling conflict, Lin - who has now directed four of the 'Fast and Furious' movies - will not return to direct 'Fast and Furious 7'...which is also not such great news for us movie fans.
'Fast and Furious 6' hasn't even hit theaters, but rumors about 'Fast and Furious 7' have already been spreading across the internet. If the early buzz is to be believed, the ending of the upcoming follow-up to 'Fast Five' will directly tease the villain of the next entry...which may begin filming sooner than you think.
With all of the recent footage releases and trailers and TV spots, it's safe to say that summer season is just around the corner, and one of the film's we're most pumped for is 'Fast and Furious 6.' Coming after the ridiculously entertaining 'Fast Five,' this looks to be more of the same except maybe a little bigger. And now there's a new TV spot that makes the wait that much harder.
We're excited for 'Fast and Furious 6' - very excited. (Seriously, did you see that trailer?) But one movie that could get us just as excited, if not more, than 'Fast and Furious 6' would be a spinoff starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his Hobbs character. And it just so happens that The Rock says that such a movie is something they're planning.
One of the summer movies we're most excited for is 'Fast and Furious 6,' which will have Vin Diesel and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson teaming up to fight crime. What more could you want? Perhaps the return of Michelle Rodriguez, who was supposedly killed during the course of 'Fast and Furious.' Rodiguez is back, but as this featurette shows, she can't really talk about it.
About two weeks ago, we saw the first 'Fast and Furious 6' poster. It featured Vin Diesel walking away to his car, presumably to get into some fast, furious shenanigans. Today sees the release of the second teaser poster, which displays a similar aesthetic, this time with a rather casual Paul Walker.

'Fast and Furious 6' features British actor Luke Evans as the film's villain Owen Shaw. But what if we told you there was another villain behind the scenes that would be revealed at the end of the film, setting up the events of 'Fast and Furious 7?' Well that's exactly what we're telling you. And if you read on, we'll tell you which star is playing that villain. Big time spoilers ahead!
'Fast and Furious 6' sees Hobbs tracking a band of skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries. In order to bring them down, Hobbs asks Dom and the team for assistance, and in return he'll offer full pardons for past grievances.
After the first 'Fast and Furious 6' trailer premiere during the 2013 Super Bowl, fans of the film franchise have been aching for more footage from the highly anticipated summer flick -- and we're not talking about stills from Vin Diesel's Facebook page, either. Well, as the full-length 'Fast and Furious 6' trailer is set to premiere in just a few hours time, a short, 30-second preview has hit early.
