‘Terminator Genisys’ Trailer Features a Very Anxious J.K. Simmons

EDIT

Throughout the marketing for Terminator Genisys, we haven’t really seen much (if at all) of J.K. Simmons, who appears to play a detective who helps Emilia Clarke’s Sarah Connor in the upcoming prequel-sequel-alternate timeline-something-or-other. That changes now with a new TV spot in which the recent Oscar-winner features prominently, also offering up some new footage from the film.

It’s Judgment Day For a New ‘Terminator Genisys’ Living One-Sheet and Images

It’s a poster! It’s a YouTube teaser! Actually, it’s a “living one-sheet” for the upcoming Terminator Genisys, featuring Mr. T-800 himself, Arnold Schwarzengger with his skin peeling off to reveal his metal endoskeleton. I like this sort of thing! Partly because it involves Arnold Schwarzenegger, and there’s not too many way you can go wrong there, but mostly because it’s different than your typical barrage of posters and one-sheets, along with micro-trailers and whatnot.

After watching the first trailer for ‘Terminator Genisys,’ and after downing some Aspirin to deal with the headache of trying to sort out that wacky timeline, you may have wondered about the level of detail that went into recreating the past settings and costumes from the ‘80s. They probably just did some CG magic or cheated the best they could to replicate key moments and details. According to the film’s costume designer, that’s not the case. In fact, she was so insistent on replicating the original costumes that she had Nike drop what they were doing just to make her a pair of shoes for Kyle Reese.

Do you see that look of disapproval on Arnold Schwarzenegger's face in the image above this sentence? Just scroll down and prepare to go, "Yikes."
