Once upon a time during its first run, Rick and Morty had fans of the delightfully-demented Dan Harmon cartoon anxious of a second season renewal. Only partway through its second outing however, Adult Swim has issued a confidence-boosting Season 3 pickup to Rick and Morty.

FOX’s Family Guy stands as only one corner of Seth MacFarlane’s animation empire, but it wasn’t terribly long ago the series became of one of the first shows revived by DVD sales. We’ve seen Rick and Morty kill The Simpsons, but at last Adult Swim’s demented pair will crash into their own season premiere on July 26. Why wait however, when all the alien-murdering, time-splitting, child-endangering antics are on full display by the Rick and Morty Season 2 trailer right now?

The Simpsons have some dark days ahead if Harry Shearer follows through on plans to quit, though none so dark as the opening of Sunday’s Season 26 finale. Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty drop by the latest couch gag to gruesomely get everyone killed, because what else would you expect from Rick and Morty?

However many college nights we stumbled onto Adult Swim to giggle at talking milkshakes, meatballs and fries, comfort could be found in knowing the Aqua Teen Hunger Force would be there. Sadly, nothing lasts Forever, as the Aqua Teens begin their goodbye rounds in a final season teaser.

It’s not every day that we get a chance to talk about ‘The Venture Bros.,’ and while don’t know very much about the sixth season just yet, the boys are officially back for a brand-new special airing on January 19. We'll admit to not having checked in very much with 'Community' creator Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland's trippy Adult Swim sci-fi comedy 'Rick and Morty,' though we've noticed its rave reviews and surprisingly competitive ratings. That said, fans are in for some seriously good news: Adult Swim has officially picked up 'Rick and Morty' for season 2!

If you watched too much 80s TV, you're familiar with 'Bosom Buddies,' the short-lived ABC sitcom that is best known for launching the career of Tom Hanks...and also for it's classic opening credits.
