One of the cooler things Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has going for it is the involvement of composer Hans Zimmer, who previously scored Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, which should lend a bit of dark, orchestral familiarity to Snyder’s film. To keep things a bit fresh, Zimmer has collaborated with Junkie XL (the maestro behind Mad Max: Fury Road) on the upcoming superhero epic, and you can listen to the first track from the film right now.

Batman vs. Superman is just about two months away and the marketing onslaught is about to begin. Here, in the calm before the storm, though we have the very first clip from Batman vs. Superman. Zack Snyder debuted the new footage on Conan last night and while it didn’t feature any superhero punching, it did tease the simmering tension between our two heroes...

The ‘Batman vs. Superman’ Mystery Villain Revealed
Batman vs. Superman director Zack Snyder has been very defensive over his decision to reveal Doomsday in the most recent trailer. While many fans have felt that the trailer gave away too much information, Snyder says it doesn’t actually give away as much as you might think and that Doomsday, while an important part of the film, isn’t alone. In fact, “there’s a bigger enemy” to fight. We know, Lex Luthor and Doomsday will cause problems for our heroic triumvirate of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, but who is this mysterious DC villain that could cause even bigger problems?

‘Justice League’ Will Explore Doomsday’s Mythology
The biggest thing — literally and figuratively — to come out of the most recent trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was Doomsday, the classic mutant baddie who appears in a massive battle against Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman near the trailer’s end. Many fans were confused as to why Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. would reveal Doomsday so soon, but the director says he has a good reason for offering the character up this early in the marketing cycle and teases a bigger connection to the Justice League franchise.

Another ‘Batman v Superman’ TV Spot Arrives
Following the debut of the first official TV spot, Warner Bros. has released another spot for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, this one expanding upon a scene previously teased in the trailer, in which Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent and Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne have a not-so-meet-cute at a party. While the first spot featured our heroes clashing a bit more aggressively in costume, this one offers a passive-aggressive meeting between the two men as their civilian alter-egos, interrupted by that weasel Lex Luthor.

Just one look is all it takes for Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel to send the Batmobile conveniently careening into boxes of Gotham City gas (they keep gas in boxes there? What kind of city is this?). The latest TV spot for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is more of a clip, really, and shows us a brief glimpse of the scene in which Superman wrecks the Batmobile and the pair of heroes glare at each other…a lot.

Jesse Eisenberg Almost Had Another ‘Batman v Superman’ Role
It’s time to play the speculation game. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder and star Jesse Eisenberg recently sat down for an interview where they coyly revealed that the actor was almost cast in a different role in the film before he signed on to play Lex Luthor. And while they won’t tell us who Eisenberg almost played, they do offer a few more tidbits about his actual role in the film and tease a rather exciting sequence involving his hair.

Zack Snyder Defends ‘Batman vs. Superman’ Trailer: ‘There’s Plenty You Don’t Know’
The Batman vs. Superman trailer was released last month and, well, it’s fair to say that the internet wasn’t very happy. Not necessarily because it looked like a bad movie, but because it seemingly gave away everything. It felt like one giant spoiler dump; the entirety of the movie condensed down to two minutes and 30 seconds...

‘Batman v Superman’ Won’t Address ‘Man of Steel’ Complaints
Watching the trailers for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, you wouldn’t be crazy to assume that Zack Snyder’s superhero showdown film appears to be addressing the criticisms of Man of Steel — namely, the oft-repeated complaint that Snyder’s first Superman film depicted the hero as rather oblivious or uncaring of the resultant mass destruction from his battle with Zod. But according to Henry Cavill, if there appears to be some acknowledgement of that criticism in Batman v Superman, it’s not intentional.
