'Brave' wasn't one of the most well-received Pixar films over the past few years, but it was enough to win Best Animated Feature at the 2013 Golden Globes.

The Oscars are a strange beast. Although we won't know the actual nominees until early next year, predictions are already flying fast and furious (didn't you hear that 'Argo' is going to win Best Picture?). Remember that monstrous bear that Princess Merida had to fend off in 'Brave'? Those of you who saw the film already know that the creature, named Mor'du, is actually a prince whose selfish ambitions led him to be cursed into this form. Well, it turns out he was interesting enough of a character on which to base an entire 'Brave' spin-off.
Now that Disney/Pixar's 'Brave' is out in theaters, there's plenty of Princess Merida merchandise that little girls can get their hands on. But what could be better than that? Meeting a real life version of the Scottish Disney princess, naturally.
