That time may already be upon us, CBS is reportedly looking to boldly go forward with a new TV Star Trek.

Jubilee is one of the more wildly divisive characters from X-Men — you either love or loathe her to pieces. Throughout five X-Men films and a few spinoffs, Jubilee has never really been featured, although she did put in some very minor appearances in the first few films. That’s all changing now as director Bryan Singer has cast newcomer Lana Condor as Jubilee for X-Men: Apocalypse.

Bryan Singer is currently in production on X-Men: Apocalypse, and while that’s a pretty consuming job, he’s already making some post-X-Men plans. His first project following completion of the superhero trilogy will see him teaming up with Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim for an adaptation of the classic Robert A. Heinlein sci-fi novel The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress.

X-Men: Apocalypse is set to begin filming this summer, but director Bryan Singer is already hard at work getting ready for the start of production. He may be busy, but not so busy that he can't snap a quick photo of some X-Men: Apocalypse concept art to get the internet all excited. And confused? 'X-Men 3' was the most disappointing installment of the entire franchise to date, with the exception of, perhaps, 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine.' Director Bryan Singer, who helmed both 'X-Men' and 'X2,' was onboard 'The Last Stand' but dropped out right before production began so he could direct 'Superman Returns' instead. (Great choice, right?) This allowed Brett Ratner to step in and totally obliterate 'The Dark Phoenix Saga,' the comic book arc that served as the basis for the film. Now, more than eight years after 'X-Men 3' hit theaters, new concept art has leaked online to show us what we could've got if Singer were at the helm.

Bryan Singer has directed most of the 'X-Men' movies, with the exception of 'First Class' and the standalone Wolverine adventures. Despite the box office success of 'Days of Future Past,' however, his return as director for 2016's 'X-Men: Apocalypse' was in doubt. With a release date set for May 2016, director Bryan Singer and his writing team have been putting together the script, and while little is known about the plot, an Instagrammed photo of the current treatment reveals that The Four Horsemen will indeed have a part to play.
