Cameron Diaz has almost sneakily hosted 'SNl" enough times that, after last night, she’s only one away from the vaulted Five-Timers Club. Diaz first hosted back in 1998, a show that featured one of the funniest sketches of all time, ‘Jingleheimer Junction.’ This is all to say that it shouldn’t be too surprising that last night’s ‘SNL’ came off so, let’s say, professional with one sketch that even rivals ‘Jingleheimer Junction.’ On to the Scorecard we go...

‘SNL’ and Cameron Diaz Preview That New ‘Annie’ Movie

It‘s common for ‘SNL’ to recruit guest hosts from whoever has something new to promote, but it‘s rare for that guest host to participate in a sketch that tears apart the very thing they showed up to help sell. And yet, that's what happened when Cameron Diaz hosted, playing her character in the upcoming remake of ‘Annie’ in a sketch that's all about how genuinely weird the film looks.

The Ladies of ‘SNL’ Are “Back Home Ballers” at Thanksgiving

EDIT

It's always a good thing when ‘SNL’ lets the women in the cast fully cut loose. Operating in the same tradition of “Do It on My Twin Bed” and “Dongs All Over the World,” “Back Home Ballers” once again puts the ladies of the show in an incredibly mundane situation and lets them rap about it. And, as usual, the show once again proves that its female cast has never been stronger.

Just this past weekend 'SNL' announced that 'The Hunger Games' star Woody Harrelson would return to the stage on November 15, and so too do we know what A-lister will also make a return appearance the following week. Here's The Cast Of 'Sex Tape' Sitting and Smiling

EDIT

In 'Sex Tape,' Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz play a married couple who accidentally load a sex tape to their cloud, which results in the couple having to collect all of the iPads they gave out as gifts in order to save embarrassment. Anyway, this could never happen. But, hey, it's a movie, and movie sometimes have to stretch reality in order to be entertaining and interesting -- which 'Sex Tape' didn't accomplish either.

'Sex Tape' and the Problem With Movies About Married People With Boring Problems

Did you hear the one about getting married and having a family? When you get married and have children, you no longer get to have sex. This basic knowledge has become such a tired movie cliche and yet entire films continue to be built around it, including 'Sex Tape,' the new film that reunites 'Bad Teacher' director Jake Kasdan with his stars Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel -- a combination that should make for easy entertainment, but instead lends itself to exasperated groans.

Fifteen Fun Minutes With The Fun Ellie Kemper, Star of 'Sex Tape'

Every so often, during a press day that seems endless for everyone involved, something that at least resembles "reality" can occur. It's an odd thing, really: Because on a day like this, most people involved are seeking something that doesn't feel manufactured, even though it's almost impossible to find. Anyway, that's my overly hyperbolic way of saying, "Talking to Ellie Kemper was a delight."

Jimmy Fallon Can't Beat Cameron Diaz in Kayak Racing

EDIT

'Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon and superstar Cameron Diaz have a longstanding athletic rivalry that dominates both their actual friendship and just about any appearance Diaz might make on the late-night show. (Remember that terribly dangerous roller golf segment from earlier this year?) So, it should come as no surprise that they're at it again.
