Depending on the age of the person you ask, you’ll discover Adam West fans, Michael Keaton fans, Kevin Conroy fans and, if you stare into the darkness long enough, a George Clooney fan. For a certain group of fans, Christian Bale’s take on the Dark Knight always be the definitive interpretation, with his gravelly growl and trademark intensity instantly beating out whatever Ben Affleck brings to the character in ‘Batman vs. Superman.’ Some of these people are going to resent Affleck no matter what. And, in a surprising turn of events, it looks like they can all rally around Bale himself.

The final 'Exodus: Gods and Kings' trailer is an anomaly because it's the first piece of marketing for the film that doesn't make us shake our heads in disbelief. After several painfully dull trailers, we finally have a glimpse at the movie that doesn't make us guffaw. For the first time, this actually looks like a Ridley Scott film.

Christian Bale has abruptly pulled out of Danny Boyle's planned Steve Jobs biopic, just two weeks after entering discussions with Sony Pictures and Boyle over playing the iconic Apple CEO. Though Bale hadn't officially signed for the part (and hadn't even begun contract negotiations), his participation was considered a near certainly and his unexpected departure is another casting blow for the project, which already had Leonardo DiCaprio turn down the starring role.

Danny Boyle's upcoming Steve Jobs biopic has already found its leading man in Christian Bale, but now the production is looking to cast the role of Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple. And they couldn't have found an actor more disparate than Christian Bale for the part: Seth Rogen is currently in talks to join the film.

A little while back, director David Fincher was looking to cast Christian Bale as Steve Jobs in an untitled biopic about the life of the Apple co-founder written by Aaron Sorkin. Then Fincher left and the project and so did Bale. Now, with Danny Boyle at the helm, Bale has once again returned to the film and is currently in negotiations to take the part.

It looks like director Danny Boyle will have to find a new Steve Jobs for his upcoming biopic, as Leonardo DiCaprio has formally exited the project. The actor has backed out to star in another film instead, and now the studio has their eyes on a few replacements, including original choice Christian Bale.
