We’re a little over four months from the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which will launch a whole new world of films into our lives: the DC Cinematic Universe. Spinning out of the events of 2013’s Man of Steel, it will pit Henry Cavill’s Superman against Ben Affleck’s Batman, and put both characters on the path toward a massive two-part film about DC’s heavy-hitting super-team, the Justice League of America, which will also feature the exploits of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), the Flash (Ezra Miller), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and more.

Earlier today, Arrow producer Marc Guggenheim stoked the fires (will?) of a Green Lantern appearance in Season 4 by insinuating a certain ring might pop up in the premiere, but the latest trailer might debunk said tease. The latest look at Arrow Season 4 definitely highlights a ring, but it sure ain’t the Lantern Corps’.

By now, Arrow Season 4 has made little secret of its presence in Coast City, hometown to DC’s Green Lantern, though the emerald knight’s cinematic future seemingly prevents any genuine appearance. Still, Arrow’s teasing of the famed Justice League-r began to border on trolling, and now we may even see the Green Lantern’s ring in the fourth season premiere.

We’re still waiting on a proper trailer for Arrow Season 4 to glimpse its secrets, but despite the acknowledgement of Green Lantern’s hometown of Coast City, producers have thoroughly shot down the notion of Oliver Queen teaming with any member of the Lantern Corps this year. Or have they? New production art from the season really wants you to believe in an Arrow / Green Lantern teamup.

Last month, Fast and Furious franchise star Tyrese Gibson hinted that there would be a big announcement regarding Green Lantern at Comic-Con, seemingly indicating that the actor may have been cast in WB’s upcoming reboot. That big announcement was Green Lantern Corps, which will feature not one, but two Green Lanterns. And one of them could indeed be Gibson, as the actor confirms he has met with WB about the movie.

For as much as Comic-Con 2015 and beyond revealed of Arrow Season 4, we don’t yet have the clearest picture what Oliver will be doing in flashback this year, other than the vague suggestion that the younger Mr. Queen will head to Green Lantern’s hometown of Coast City. The series has alluded to Green Lantern on a number of occasions, but is a Season 4 appearance really in the cards?

The biggest news coming out coming out of today’s Warner Bros. panel: A confirmation of one of the biggest comic-book movie rumors in recent weeks, that Green Lantern is coming back to the big screen in the near future, and this time with multiple heroes sharing the spotlight. Reports have tied both Chris Pine and Tyrese Gibson to the project, and while neither gentleman was on hand at Hall H, Warners did confirm the movie is in the works, and it has a title: Green Lantern Corps.

Faster than a speeding bullet, Comic-Con is upon once again. The biggest, nerdiest party in the world kicks off on Wednesday in San Diego and, yes, Team ScreenCrush will be on hand to cover it all. With Marvel, Sony, and Paramount, all sitting out this year’s big geek bash, the clear #1 panel to anticipate is Warner Bros. Saturday morning showcase of their upcoming slate. The presentation will include clips from the new live-action Pan starring Hugh Jackman, and the movie version of the ’60s spy series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. But the star attraction is unquestionably an appearance by Zack Snyder and the stars of next spring’s hotly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
