The CW Fall 2014 Schedule and Trailers: ‘Flash’ Joins ‘Supernatural’ Tuesdays, ‘iZombie’ to Midseason
Earlier today, 'Arrow' spinoff 'The Flash' raced out its first full trailer, but even as the last of the broadcast networks to reveal its full schedule, The CW was far from finished. The network issued its full fall 2014 schedule, pairing Barry Allen with the Winchester brothers and leaving a few other comic characters for midseason, while we've also got our first video looks at 'iZombie,' 'Jane t

Moments ago we saw news that The CW officially ordered 'Arrow' spinoff 'The Flash' to series, along with the similarly comic-friendly 'iZombie,' but the news isn't all good. The 'Supernatural' spinoff 'Bloodlines' is officially a pass, while the network also opted not to renew 'The Tomorrow People,' 'Star-Crossed' or enduring 'Sex and the City' prequel series 'The Carrie Diaries.'

And so it goes for fall 2013 that The CW has become the third major network to release its premiere schedule of the coming year. Once more, The CW will hold off on its major premieres until October in avoidance of competition from the other networks, holding some of its new and returning sci-fi series on deck for midseason.

The hits just keep on coming! After NBC announced that it would renew five of its major series for additional 22-episode seasons, now The CW has followed suit with a few pickups of their own. Not only will 'The Vampire Diaries' spin-off 'The Originals' officially go to series, but freshman drama 'Beauty and the Beast' and Rachel Bilson's 'Hart of Dixie' will return for additional seasons as well!

The CW Eyes Reduced-Order Renewals for Bubble Shows
Earlier today, news broke that NBC could be next in line to issue early renewals to the series of its current line-up, with plenty of shows on the bubble for cancellation. CBS and FOX have already issued mayor renewals, along with The CW's pickups for 'Arrow,' 'The Vampire Diaries' and 'Supernatural,' but what other CW series are on the chopping block? And which might get truncated final season or

As much as we might like The CW, we tend not to pay attention to its more lady-skewing shows, with perhaps the exception of 'Arrow' (come on, put a shirt on). And with the excitement of the 2012 London Olympics thoroughly in our rear view, there isn't much to say about Ryan Lochte, Gabby Douglas, or the ever-unimpressed McKayla Maroney, but when The CW recruits all three for guest spots this fall?
