We mostly assumed that a ‘23 Jump Street’ movie would never happen. Where could you possibly go after the lunacy of the ‘22 Jump Street’ end credits that joked at the idea of horrible sequels up until ‘43 Jump Street’ (subtitled “Mariachi School”). Then came reports late last year of an idea so insane that it might actually work: crossing over ‘23 Jump Street’ and ‘Men in Black’. It was so insane, in fact, that a lot of people thought it wasn’t real. But, directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller promise that it’s very real and that they’re currently developing the project at Sony.

Let’s go back. Back in time before Paul Feig swooped in to direct an all-female ‘Ghostbusters’ reboot which we’re actually excited about. Back in time to when the long-gestating ‘Ghostbusters 3’ was still a possibility, a sequel that most people didn’t really want. Back here in the land that time forgot, original ‘Ghostbusters’ director and producer Ivan Reitman was planning to helm the long-delayed third installment in the franchise, and according to some recently uncovered e-mails from Sony, we now know what that sequel would have been called—and who might have starred in it.

You’ve got to hand it to Jonah Hill and James Franco, both of whom manage to effortlessly glide between comedic and dramatic roles. It’s not easy to be a popular goofball and an Oscar nominated “serious” actor, but somehow these two have managed to pull it off. Their latest film, ‘True Story’ is unique in that it is the first project to cast them together in dramatic roles. When you watch the first trailer for film, you can be forgiven for expecting them to drop the dramatic stare-downs and start riffing with each other at any moment.

‘23 Jump Street’ is a sequel that is surely happening, this despite all the many hilarious sequel jokes during the ‘22 Jump Street’ end credits. The franchise is just too popular to let die. But, how exactly would you sequelize ‘22 Jump Street’, which did a pretty effective job of sending up sequel cliches? Well, you send Jenko and Schmidt to the Men in Black program, of course.

After being nominated for two Academy Awards, Jonah Hill could do just about anything. As it turns out, what he plans to do next is star in ‘Arms and the Dudes,’ the new film from ‘Hangover’ director Todd Phillips, based on the true crime story of a couple of stoner guys who get in over their heads and wind up becoming arms dealers. Who will play the role of the other stoner guy? ‘Whiplash’ star Miles Teller is in talks to star opposite Hill, which would make for quite the talented pairing.

A new film from filmmaking brothers Joel and Ethan Coen is always highly-anticipated, but it turns out we're just going to have to wait a little longer for their latest effort. The star-studded 'Hail, Caesar!' which reunites the directors with George Clooney and Tilda Swinton, has been officially given a 2016 release date, and we have a feeling this one will be well-worth the wait.

'22 Jump Street' gave us one of the most hilarious end credits sequences in comedy history, and one that seemed to signal to audiences that Phil Lord and Chris Miller were done with making 'Jump Street' movies, as it delivered concepts for about 20 fake sequels. But not so fast: '22 Jump Street' writer Rodney Rothman has been hired to return for '23 Jump Street,' so it seems like Ice Cube's threat to send our favorite undercover cops to medical school might not be out of the question.

The cast for the Coen Brothers' newest film just keeps getting more and more outstanding, and if they keep this up, we're not sure that 'Hail, Caesar!' is a film big enough to contain so much amazing talent. Today brings word that Scarlett Johansson and Jonah Hill are the latest actors to join the lineup.

Jonah Hill probably shouldn't have made that bet. Back when '21 Jump Street' was about to hit theaters, a drunk Hill made a ridiculous bet with an equally drunk Channing Tatum based on the possibility that their movie open over $35 million. The bet? As Hill put it, "I will kiss your tip!" (The tip of what, we'll leave to your very capable imagination.) '21 Jump Street' opened to $36.3 million.

Jonah Hill might want to work on his betting skills because he doesn't appear to understand the mechanics of it. The '22 Jump Street' star hit 'Conan' last night, alongside the other half of the burgeoning franchise's all-star comedic duo, Channing Tatum, to share some very weird (and very x-rated) tidbits about a bet the pair made quite awhile ago.
