At the time of publication, this is all we know to be true of the upcoming Spider-Man reboot (or it it a re-reboot, or an unboot, or a different sort of boot entirely?):
Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios will collaboratively produce the film.
True to form, FOX’s Empire has been living large on the road to its September Season 2 premiere, dropping trailer after trailer, and the occasional 20-minute preview. What better way to keep the Empire in power, than to add four more new trailers, as well as our first HD photos of the Season 2 opener?
Empire Season 2 proved surprisingly generous in debuting its first trailer early, but it’s gloves off, claws out by the first full promo. Get an eyeful of Lucious’ downfall, guest stars the likes of Marisa Tomei, Chris Rock and more by the newest trailer, plus … is a spinoff in the works?
Start the puns now: Marisa Tomei has joined the cast of Sony and Marvel’s upcoming Spider-Man reboot in the role of Aunt May. Marisa Aunt May! See, it’s fun. You try. We can’t have a Spider-Man film without Uncle Ben and Aunt May, and since the studios are heading back to the drawing board with the origin story (again), it’s time to revisit Peter Parker’s family.
All eyes will fall on Empire Season 2, as TV’s biggest 2015 breakout challenges itself to repeat success. The Lyons certainly won’t be going it alone, either, as Marisa Tomei has officially joined the cast in the recurring role of a hip-hop loving lesbian billionaire. Yes, you read that correctly.

First comes 'The Guilt Trip' on December 19, and then 'Parental Guidance' on December 25. Now there's a new trailer for the latter.
