July is almost upon us and it’s going to be a good month for Netflix users, as the streaming service is adding a whole slew of new movies and TV shows, including a bunch of exclusives. Cult comedy fans are eagerly awaiting the debut of the return of Wet Hot American Summer as a new series featuring the original cast, and standup fans will get a brand-new special from Rush Hour star Chris Tucker. Doctor Who fans have long waited to see where Matt Smith would next head after abdicating the TARDIS (and seriously, has anyone seen him in Terminator Genisys promos yet?), and Netflix has emerged as the lucky recipient. Smith, John Lithgow and Claire Foy have all joined up for Netflix’s new prestige drama, The Crown.

Ashton Kutcher’s sitcom return behind Charlie Sheen’s Two and a Half Men departure seemed like a welcome bit of nostalgia, one Netflix aims to double down on in returning Kutcher to TV alongside his That ‘70s Show castmate. Danny Masterson will join Kutcher on new comedy The Ranch, which also brings with it a new distribution model for Netflix.

Netflix has had their share of escapees, from the House of Cards early leak to Daredevil’s red costume, but Orange is the New Black Season 3 earned an early release all on its own. All episodes of the streaming site’s breakout prison dramedy have been paroled ahead of schedule, and are available to watch right now!

The Walking Dead alum Jon Bernthal will officially take Frank Castle into the MCU, donning a white skull as Daredevil Season 2's take on The Punisher.

Things seems strangely quiet for Litchfield as Orange is the New Black prepares to debut all 14 (!) episodes of Season 3 this Friday, but in lieu of a new trailer, the Netflix prison drama offers a stimulating new featurette on everyone’s favorite couple. Alex and Piper generate plenty of sparks, as newcomer Ruby Rose previews “the sexiest season by far” in a new featurette.

Marvel’s ‘AKA Jessica Jones’ Officially Drops the ‘AKA’

Marvel’s Netflix Jessica Jones series added a bit of distinction in titling itself AKA Jessica Jones alongside the addition of Krysten Ritter, but unlike Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel has decided to let simplicity prevail. Periods be damned, the second Defenders series will henceforth be known as Marvel’s Jessica Jones.

‘Daredevil’ Season 2 Loses Jason Statham as Bullseye

Late last week, news that Daredevil Season 2 might target Spy star and action hero Jason Statham for the villainous Bullseye was met with near-overwhelming acclaim, and today those million voices crying out have been suddenly silenced. Statham has apparently dropped out of Daredevil negotiations, and even taken a swipe at Marvel to boot.
