O’Hara was best known for her roles opposite John Wayne in films like Rio Grande, The Quiet Man and Big Jake, as well as classics like Miracle on 34th Street and The Parent Trap.

A sad day for fans of Catherine Coulson and Twin Peaks alike, as the actress behind one of the most iconic, if understated characters has passed away. The frequent David Lynch collaborator was also known for her work as a camera assistant, and was expected to reprise her role for Showtime’s upcoming Twin Peaks revival.

Omar Sharif, the legendary actor best known for key roles in classic movies like Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago, has passed away. He was 83 years old. The BBC has a statement from Sharif’s agent, who reports that the Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe winning performer suffered a heart attack in Cairo. He had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease earlier this year. Beyond that, details are unknown.

Prolific producer Jerry Weintraub has passed away today at the age of 77, as confirmed by various trades as well as some of his close associates, including director William Friedkin.
