'Stretch' has gone through a bit of a rough period. The film, directed by Joe Carnahan and produced by Jason Blum, was originally set for a theatrical premiere back in March, but Universal Studios decided to drop it from its release slate, choosing to utilize other creative methods. Now, with an Amazon and iTunes release on October 7, and a VOD release on October 14, the first 'Stetch' trailer has debuted online.
Based on the true story of the notorious Lucchese crime family and their associate, Henry Hill, Martin Scorsese's 'Goodfellas' follows the blue-collar Hill (Ray Liotta) as he tries to work his way up the ranks of the Italian-American mob in his New York neighborhood. Featuring a cast that includes Robert De Niro and several future stars of 'The Sopranos,' the film hit theaters in 1990 and received rave reviews for its depiction of organized crime. Twenty-three years later, we revisit the cast of the film and see what they're up to now.
Michael Shannon has played more than a few nefarious types in his career, but none of them come close to Richard Kuklinski, aka "The Iceman." A vicious hitman with at least 100 corpses to his credit, he's all the more horrifying because Kuklinski was actually a real person. And 'The Iceman' is his story.

Since its generally warm reception at this year's Cannes Film Festival, 'Killing Them Softy' has emerged as one of this Fall's most anticipated movies. Although we've already gotten an American one-sheet, French movie site Cinema Teaser has revealed the international poster. Check it out below!
Andrew Dominik's 'Killing Them Softly' (originally titled 'Cogan's Trade') will be playing the Cannes film festival very shortly, and - as is par for the course with the films in competition - there's now a clip from the film online. It doesn't show star Brad Pitt, what it does show is an epic beatdown.
It's hard to steer a career right after some studio failures, but it looks like Karyn Kusama is going back to the indie world that launched her with 'Girlfight.' She's directing 'The Rut' and has Chloe Grace Moretz and Jeffery Dean Morgan already in, but it looks like she's going to be adding Goodfella Ray Liotta to the mix.
