Netflix’s House of Cards may be folding faster than expected. Even as the Kevin Spacey drama seemed to confirm a sixth and final season in response to allegations of pedophilia, production has now shut down altogether while Netflix figures out their next move.

House of Cards is approaching an understandable endpoint after six seasons and increasing scrutiny around Kevin Spacey, but the Underwoods’ legacy may yet continue. According to new reports, Netflix is going the Game of Thrones route with a number of potential spinoffs.

In what’s either the best or worst timing possible, Netflix’s House of Cards is about to crumble. The Kevin Spacey-Robin Wright political drama is confirmed to return for a sixth and final season, bringing the Underwoods’ reign to a close.

The 2017 Emmy Awards keep rolling right along with one of the more intense competitions of the night, and it seems a great injustice has finally been undone. Here’s a funny thought for you: someone is about to be swayed into seeing Blade Runner 2049 by this new batch of character posters. I’ve written before that Blade Runner 2049 doesn’t really have much left to prove to audiences  —  you’re likely already in or out, and have been for quite some time  —  but that doesn’t apply to everyone. Somewhere, on some website, somebody is going to look at this international poster of Ryan Gosling and think to themselves for the first time, oh, yeah, I think this might actually be a movie I want to see. Justice League is set to be Warner Bros. biggest superhero team-up film yet, with metahumans we’ve met and a few we haven’t coming together to fight against injustice. Even those who aren’t traditionally members of the team are in for this fight, including a few of Wonder Woman’s Themysciran compatriots.

It’s a good week to be Robin Wright, both for Wonder Woman love and her House of Cards rise to power, but the increasingly-quaint Netflix drama doesn’t yet have the Season 6 renewal to explore Claire’s future. Should it return, bosses promise that Claire will be the one tearing down the fourth wall, which could drastically reinvent the show.

We’re only two weeks away from the release of DC Films’ Wonder Woman, and by my watch, that means it’s time for Warner Bros. to open the floodgates a bit when it comes to marketing the film. And wouldn’t you know it? Right on schedule, the studio has released a whole bunch of clips from the new film. We’ve got scenes where Wonder Woman throws down against enemy soldiers, scenes where Wonder Woman struggles to understand the “modern” world, and a whole bunch of scenes where Chris Pine plays the comic relief to Gal Gadot’s straight woman. If you’ve been hoping for a closer look at the world that director Patty Jenkins has put together, here’s your chance.

It wouldn’t be a superhero movie without a glowy weapon of some sort. Wonder Woman has a sword and a shield, but her coolest weapon is her lasso of truth, which makes whomever is stuck in it unable to lie — and also acts as a pretty useful fighting tool on its own. World War I soldiers probably aren’t going to expect to get roped by a screaming Amazon during battle.
